Marketing
Marketer duties and responsibilities
A Marketer works with other members of a sales or marketing team to plan, execute and monitor a successful marketing campaign. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Contribute in the implementation of marketing strategies
- Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations
- Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
- Liaise with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence
- See all ventures through to completion and evaluate their success using various metrics
- Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth
- Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles
- Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
- Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Creativity and commercial awareness
- A team player with a customer-oriented approach
- BSc/BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
Engineering
Solar Engineer/Installer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble solar panels at the job site
- Mount the panels on the client’s roof or in another location
- Conducting research to develop new techniques for installing solar panels on buildings or other structures, including roofing materials that can withstand high winds or rain without causing damage to the panels
- Conducting research on solar radiation and its effects on the surrounding environment, such as changes in air temperature or humidity levels
- Conducting research on installing solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, solar thermal systems, and solar water heating systems
- Performing site surveys to assess available sunlight and proximity to transmission lines or major roads
- Conducting research on solar panles, including selecting the location for a new facility based on available sunlight and land availability
- Configure the wiring and inspect all electrical parts
- Install and connect any batteries or other accessories
- Perform maintenance on all systems
Solar Engineer/Installer
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma, HND/OND/ Holder
- Construction experience
- Physical strength and stamina
- Familiarity with electricity and wiring procedures
