Simple cause and effect theory can be used to understand the fundamental difference between voltage and current. According to this theory, two events are considered to have cause and effect if one results from the other’s influence.
For instance, the faucet is turning out water since it is switched on. The act of opening the faucet is the cause, and the flow of water is the result. Therefore, using comparable language, we can state that current flows between the two terminals as a result of the presence of voltage between them.
Voltage is therefore the cause, and current is the result. Voltage and current have a number of notable distinctions as well. Low current somehow doesn’t necessarily constitute a voltage difference in the circuit, and high voltage does not always indicate more current flows in the circuit. The connection involving voltage and current is controlled by a different parameter. In the circuit, this amount is referred to as resistance.
